In today’s dynamic world of work, you will work with different types of organizations who will be your employers, clients or collaborators. Each has their own unique way of functioning. So during the 4 weeks in the workplace simulation, you immerse in 4 diverse company storylines and their own unique set of tasks and challenges. In fact, your trainer will role-play different founder/CEO personality types for each company’s storyline to prepare you to engage with similar characters in the real world!

What is the Workplace Smartness Profile?

The Workplace Smartness Profile (WSP) is a personalized report that measures and highlights proficiency of learners in key soft skills that are essential for success in the modern workplace. Unlike traditional certifications that rely on numeric scores, the WSP is calculated based on real-world performance across more than 30 workplace scenarios, including task scores, peer reviews and live trainer observations

Why is it different from other standard certifications?

The WSP focuses on the cognitive and behavioral performance of learners rather than just theoretical knowledge or technical expertise. While traditional certifications provide a static numeric score (like 0-10), the WSP gives a detailed qualitative analysis of how learners apply their skills in  different workplace scenarios.

Application and Selection
Who is eligible to join the fellowship?
The program is designed for individuals with up to 2 years of work experience who have completed their final year of undergraduate degree or diploma.
What is the application deadline?
Applications close 5 days before the batch start date. You can view available batches and their start dates in the 'Batch Selection' section of the application form.
Do I need any prior knowledge, experience, or scores?
While you need to have completed your final year of an undergraduate degree or diploma for employment purposes, we look for driven individuals who have participated in extracurricular activities, held leadership roles, or shown motivation through unique experiences.
Is internship experience counted as work experience?
Yes. On the application form, you’ll find separate categories for full-time work or freelance experience and internships. Both can be considered when calculating your total work experience.
What is the selection procedure?
The selection process includes initial shortlisting based on your application, followed by a phone interview. Successful candidates will receive an offer to join the fellowship after the interview stage.
Fees
What is the fees and how is it structured?
The total fee is INR 20,000. You pay INR 10,000 before the program starts and the remaining INR 10,000 after receiving your first job offer.
What if I decide to not accept the job offer?
If you choose not to accept a job offer, you remain part of our placement pool. When you accept an offer from one of our placement partners, the remaining INR 10,000 placement fee will be due.
I am finding your program expensive.
The Smart Fellowship offers lifelong membership. Think of us as your one-stop-shop for career guidance—whether it’s about job prospects, higher studies, or entrepreneurship. You’ll never need any other career support.

Can you guarantee a particular salary? Can you guarantee a job with a big MNC?
Our goal is to match you with roles that align with your strengths and interests. The salary will depend on factors like your qualifications, industry, and the role itself. While we cannot guarantee a job with a specific company, we do our best to align opportunities with your preferences. In the case that you wish to access job opportunities outside the program, you have the advantage of negotiating up to 20% more starting salary than average by leveraging The Smart Fellowship experience.
Do you guarantee that I will get a job?
We provide access to top job and internship opportunities across corporates, start-ups, and nonprofits. However, securing a role depends on your performance in interviews.
What if I don't clear an interview or don't get a job?
The Smart Fellowship is committed to supporting you throughout your job search. If you don’t clear an interview or don’t receive an offer, we will continue to help you by providing personalized feedback, additional interview preparation, and access to more opportunities from our placement partners. You remain part of our placement pool until you secure a position that aligns with your goals. We’re with you every step of the way!
How will this fellowship help get me a job?
The program combines simulated learning, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions to prepare you for the modern workplace. After completing the fellowship, you'll be ready to interview with our partner recruiters.
Can I avail the benefits of the internship/jobs without attending the training?
No. We promise our partner companies that we’ll only place fellows who have completed the program and developed a full Workplace Smartness Profile. Completing the program, including all offline and online sessions and completing all the tasks, is mandatory to be eligible for internships and jobs.
Learning Experience & Scheduling
What is the Smart Fellowship and how will it benefit me?
The Smart Fellowship is a soft skills training program designed to equip young professionals with the essential skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving workplace. As AI increasingly shapes industries, this fellowship focuses on enhancing soft skills like critical thinking, creative problem-solving, leveraging AI, and effective communication—areas where AI stops and human expertise takes over. The program will help you future-proof your career, improve workplace performance, and stand out in a competitive job market.
How long is the program, and what is the schedule?
The program is a total of 40 hours delivered over four weeks. The weekend batch is scheduled for four consecutive Saturdays/Sundays with each session lasting approximately 8 hours. The weekday batch is scheduled for 3 days in a week with each lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Each day is designed to immerse participants in a simulated workplace environment, where you'll engage in interactive role-playing, critical problem-solving tasks, and group-based activities. The schedule covers key themes like Solving, Communicating, Engaging with AI, and Thinking.Mentoring and Placement Preparation will be offered online during the week, combining both group sessions and personalized experiences. Who are the trainers?
The trainers are experienced facilitators and industry experts who bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the sessions. As part of the immersive experience, the facilitator will assume the role of the founder of a simulated company, guiding you through real-world scenarios and offering personalized feedback. Additionally, guest speakers from leading industries, including professionals from companies like LinkedIn, will offer unique insights through brain booster sessions and interactive discussions, providing you with invaluable learning from their career journeys.
Can I do this program fully online?
No, the program cannot be attended fully online. It is designed for hands-on, collaborative learning through role-play and simulations, which require your physical presence.
What is the Workplace Smartness Profile, and what is the process for compiling it?
Workplace Smartness Profile is a customized report for each smart fellow that quantitatively evaluates their proficiency in soft skills and workplace traits across various themes. This report is based on task scores, peer reviews, and qualitative observations of the learner's live performance and behavior during simulations. It offers learners a unique advantage over other candidates during placements. Feedback from trainers and self-reflections are also factored in to provide a comprehensive view of the smart fellow's workplace readiness.
